It seems just like yesterday when a similarly titled post was made by yours truly. My how time flies when you’re having fun coming up with Pesamatrix CBS goodies.
So, what have we accomplished?
Most of the efforts were made towards design. This is a crucial step as a good design is crucial to future stability. For all that we have planned, we figured that a solid foundation would be a key factor in accomplishing our goals. Also, the service offered by us would be a notch faster, both in the technical sense (development, server response time, bug resolution), and the human-related sense (support, conflict-resolution, etc). If, coincidentally, it results in less tears being shed(by the development team, of course), all the better!!
What are the benefits to the product itself, you ask?
Well, some of the features that would have taken ages to develop might come faster than was initially expected. Bugs with said features should, from the onset, be more secure(we’re dealing with money here), and have less bugs. Also, the organisation structure that the application can accomodate for both in workflow and security is more flexible.
What next?
With the design phase out of the way, we’ve hit the ground on development running. Expect a demo soon.
How soon is “soon”?
While promises are easily made, they’re just as easily broken. Stability is key; so I will hold off on making any promises. However, look out for a post: “Pesamatrix: A CBS near you”
Wait, doesn’t that sound like a promise?
*cough cough* … and with that I’m off… All the best in 2024.
